If you had spent 20 minutes on the website configuring your BMW X5 you would know what package or option to order to get the blue brakes. This just blows my mind, people spending this kind of money on a high-end SAV and yet they can't be bothered to do any research prior to purchase other than to believe what the salesman tells them, then come to the forums to complain about how they got taken.

No Blue Brakes - No Research about Car before Purchase Either Sent from my iPhone using Bimmerfest mobile app Can someone please tell me if the "M" logo is a sticker or painted on? If it is a high temp sticker does anyone recommend pointing me to them? Or get the calipers with "stitched" m logos that i assume are painted for the extra 400.00. The dealer also said they are pretty sure it's a M sticker on the caliper but not 100%. Yes, it feels like the dealer totally screwed me without the anal lube. They said they have a shop that can paint it correctly for 800 without the logo and 1200 with the logo painted on. Five minutes later received a call from the service manager stating, "painting my X5 calipers could cause braking issues and we don't really advise that". Handed a 2016 BMW loaner and they was told they will call me when it's ready. Three days later, I drove to the dealership to have the calipers painted. Yes, i got suckered instead of waiting for the right X5 to come along. Of course the salesperson/dealer said "that won't be a problem and assured me that they could "add" the blue brakes" the following week. The only thing obviously missing for me were the fancy blue brakes. Hello! So.over the weekend I went from a Honda Accord to pulling the trigger on my first BMW X5 50i with most of the bells and whistles.
